Haunted Trails in Colorado
There is definitely something watching you from the side of the trail. For the last few minutes, you have known that there is at least one set of glowing eyes staring at you from between the trees. It doesn't matter that they seem to disappear each time you stop to look, for nothing can reduce the intense fear that you are currently experiencing. You set off once again, eager to reach the end of this Haunted Trail and end this terrifying night. Leaves rustle to your right. Your pace quickens and you refuse to even look at what might have caused that sound. Another rustle, though this one sounds much closer. You are almost running at this point, your breathing rate rapidly increasing and your heart feeling like it's about to burst through your rib cage. And then, all of a sudden, you hear something that paralyzes you with fear. A sinister chuckle...and it's coming from right behind you.
