Haunted Houses in Colorado

Cobwebs and dead spiders cover every square inch of furniture. The windows are so caked with dust that it would be impossible to see out of them, even if it wasn't the middle of the night. The logs in the fireplace have almost completely disintegrated and there is a strong smell of mildew in the air. At first, you assume that all of the stories you have heard about this house being haunted are just tall tales. You are alone in the house and you haven't seen anything even resembling a paranormal occurrence. That is, until you hear the footsteps creaking on the floorboards upstairs. You hold your breath and listen, but the footsteps are only getting louder...and now they're coming down the stairs.
